Chart notes
SYNONYM was away alertly to set the pace on the inside, well rated throughout, had the reins shaken leaving the turn and responded well to open up and then drew off in the lane to prove much the best to score under a hand ride. CATTY'S UNCLE stalked the winner three wide, made a two wide bid on the turn but could not go with the winner while saving the place award. LUCKY RUNNING CAT was well placed on the inside and weakened, bested rest. EYE ON THE CANDY chased the early pace, three wide on the turn and weakened. SHIFTINGGEARS was dwelt at the start, far back and was never a threat. FLETCHER STATION was settled early, three wide on the turn and tired.
