Chart notes
NEVER COMPROMISE eased off the rail and stalked from the three quarter pole, challenged toward the seven sixteenths, took the nod past the quarter and contested the far turn at even terms two deep, dueled clear mid-stretch and widened through later yards. AUBURN MILL closed to the front while tapering to the inside and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was met past the quarter and contested even terms at the rail on the far turn and remained a factor through the upper stretch before flattening stride. MARTIN MAN settled close off the rail on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and flattened in the lane. GOLDEN APPEAL rated close inside on the opening turn, gave chase toward the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then flattened stride. RIGHTEOUS MAN raced off the pace in the three path on the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. CHESAPEAKE CHARLIE saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and showed little in the lane. MASTER THIS raced off the pace in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, but showed little response.
