Chart notes
TABEGUACHE stalked the the duelers into the turn while in the three path, bid three wide into the lane, dueled with runner-up through the eighth pole to near the sixteenth pole then inched up. SENSICAL set the pace under pressure through the far turn, repelled challenger into the lane, was joined by another soon after, continued on near even terms with that one then yielded late and settled for second best. SPACE was in the four path through the turn, was asked into the lane while still in the four path, could not gain on the top two but stayed on to be clear for the show spot. PEARSE lagged behind the small field into the far turn, bid into the lane from the six or seven path, appeared to gain momentum inside the eighth pole then flattened out while drifting in a couple paths late. GATLINBURG pulled early, vied for the lead two wide through the far turn then gave way into the lane. ACCIDENT was along the inside throughout and tired.
