HAIL SOUTHERN raced in the middle of the pack early on, advanced along the rail down the back side, stalked after the half mile pole, shifted out leaving the turn, raced in the four path was was encouraged down the lane, responded well, gained ground and built momentum, caught the leading rival after the sixteenth pole, matched strides raced eye ball to eyeball, was driven and kept on point, cleared in the last few strides to take the win. STELLAR TAP was keen and on the bit early, raced on the outside in the five path, pulled next to the leaders by the half, engaged in a three way battle near the five sixteenth pole, battled into the stretch, shook one foe at the quarter pole, repelled the other front runner nearing the sixteenth pole, was hooked by an outside rival and engaged in another battle, encouraged and urged, raced head to head, stride for stride, but just missed at the wire. CLERIC raced in the two path, between foes, held pace waw shuffled back off of the pace, launched a bid after the three eighth s pole, circled the fiield while closing ground, shifted out five wide in the upper stretch, was encouraged and closed enough to claim third. STREET ART vied for the lead, ended up stalking the pace, drew beside the leaders from in between horses near the half, stayed on and matched strides with those two foes through the turn, shook one near the quarter pole, continued to battle down the stretch then tired right before the sixteenth pole and gave way. CRAFTY HEAT vied for the led, set the pace, was joined and sett he next split with company, then tired by the quarter pole. J'S LITTLE MAN had a scrambled start, regained composure but was never involved. SOUTH AL SPARKY flashed early speed, raced between horses and faltered.
