OPTIMAL COURAGE led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and drew off in the lane, under wraps at the wire. DIVE DEEP pressed the pace on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, raced in the two path around the bend and chased the winner home, no match for that rival. GENTLEMAN'S SECRET raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, moved up from the three path coming around the turn and flattened out in the lane. MIAMI CROCKETT chased the leader between horses early, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and weakened further in the stretch. CHANNEL WON raced off the pace on the outside through the opening stages, came around the turn in the three path and made no bid.
