Chart notes
REEF'S DESTINY raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two and three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground on the outside to get up in time. SEA TO SUCCESS stumbled leaving the gate, recovered to press the pace on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the bend, dueled in upper stretch, pulled clear and was caught in the final strides. ASTRONAUT OSCAR dueled between horses through the early going, saved ground around the turn and continued to battle in the stretch, keeping on the wire after his rider lost the whip in the final sixteenth of a mile. AMERICAN REFUGEE chased the pace setter on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the turn and kept on in the lane. WARRIOR BOSS dueled between horses up the backstretch, raced in the four path around the turn and was outfinished in the final furlong. BEAT THE HEAT trailed the field through the opening stages, saved ground around the bend and never threatened. STRUT ON LOUIE pressed the pace on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, raced in the four path around the turn and tired in the stretch.
