Chart notes
BABY GRAND away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, and was never seriously threatened late. WISE MARKET away well and tracked the pacesetter into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, forced the issue two wide in the run to the final turn, chased the leader two wide into the final turn, was unable to match strides with that rival through the turn, and finished one out from the rail in the drive to prove second best. FOOT SOLDIER broke sharply and stalked the early pace from along the rail entering the backstretch, pulled himself into a tracking trip in the run to the final turn, saved ground through the turn, and finished two wide in the drive to garner a share. DRILLER stalked the leader into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, but was unable to mount a late bid while finishing three wide in the drive. JUVEE TOO ducked in soon after the start and unseated his rider. JUVEE TOO walked off the track under his own power following the race.
