Chart notes
BODE'S MAKER set the pace on the inside, dueled inside rivals on the far turn, drifted off the inside turning for home, dug in gamely inside of CARAMEL CHIP, battled back determinedly past the furlong marker and prevailed. CARAMEL CHIP raced three wide early, stalked two wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled into the stretch, put a head in front in upper stretch, then dug in gamely outside of BODE'S MAKER to the finish. LOOKIN AT ROSES raced four wide early, then pressed the pace, vied two wide on the backside, dueled between rivals on the far turn, was in a bit tight and could not go with the top pair entering the stretch, then weakened some. ROUGH SEA trailed the field, moved up three wide on the far turn, then lacked a stretch rally. READY TO FLY raced five wide early, then three wide off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. COMEDIC TIMING tracked on the inside, then chased and gave way.
