Chart notes
CITY NIGHTS vied for the lead, took the rail, set the pace, was joined by another rival and worked in a set, while setting the fractions, briefly let the rival on the outside of him get his head in front for a call, took advantage of the rail, gained ground on the inside, re captured the lead, shook that rival at the quarter pole, had the lead alone, was pressured by an outside competitor closing in on him, managed to keep a length in front for the last sixteenth and got the win. HE GOTS TO GO stalked the pace in the four path, moved at the half mile pole, circled the field in the turn, loomed up near the leader at the quarter pole but could not over take that rival and settled for second. HUMOR ME PLEASE vied for the lead, set the pace, was challenged near the quarter pole and gave way. LOOKIN AT BETTY showed little. WINDTAPPER WIN raced in a stalking position until the half mile pole then faded. TAPIT TWICE trailed through out.
