Chart notes
RECKLESS AFFAIR unhurried, moved up into the second turn, gained position on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, then made a steady gain, drove clear and held. SPY TOWN allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out slightly and closed well for the place. BLUE COSMO rated close up and outside, moved up to gain a short lead through the second turn, stayed on when challenged in the stretch and held the show safe. YARDMAN allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, drifted in and weakened. MOCA MONSTER tracked the pace back, held position on the two path through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and evened out. FLAT BUSTED eased to the lead through the first turn, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then faded the final furlong. PITON mid pack, faded through the second turn. AMERICAN A. P. was no factor.
