Chart notes
TEN COUNT led the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and in upper stretch, pulled clear with a furlong to go and held that margin to the finish. ICE SHARD saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the far turn, swung wide to began a bid approaching the quarter pole, bumped mildly with EVEN THE WIND in upper stretch and gained ground late. EVEN THE WIND raced off the pace between horses through the opening half mile, came around the turn in the two path, bumped lightly with ICE SHARD in upper stretch, raced into traffic and switched to the outside in the final furlong and gained ground late from there. J J'S SOLUTION raced in the three path around the first turn, tracked the pace setter on the outside up the backstretch, challenged coming around the far bend, dueled in the lane and weakened late. SHARP STICK was carried out to the four path racing around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, improved position in upper stretch and finished evenly. RUSSIAN STANDARD raced at the back of the pack on the outside through the opening half mile, was carried out to the five path coming around the far bend and was outkicked in the lane. JAKES CHANNEL raced in the two path around the first turn, pressed the pace between horses up the backstretch, tired after a half mile and was eased in the stretch.
