Chart notes
WIND OF CHANGE (BRZ) was allowed to settle early, loomed four wide through the turn, made a bid at the quarter pole, dueled with MAILMAN MONEY, dueled to mid stretch, took control and surged clear for the win. MAILMAN MONEY tracked the early pace, raced between rivals into the turn, met the bid of the winner, angled in, dueled to mid stretch, couldn't sustain the run and finished second best. SPEIGHT AND MALICE was reserved early, went three wide into the turn, angled out through the turn and finished belatedly. EMERALD EXPRESS was taken back early, went four wide and offered no late rally. UPSTRIKER was void of any early speed, saved ground through the turn, angled out late and never fired. VULCAN was in tight in the early stages, while being unhurried, angled out five wide out of the turn and was empty. KOUFAX set a clear early pace from off the rail and faded.
