Chart notes
COASTAL MISSION stalked inside on the opening turn, raced hemmed in leaving the turn but eased out with a bid approaching the five sixteenths pole, took the lead two deep midway on the far turn, raced clear leaving the turn and was kept alert through the lane. ALPHA CHI RHO stalked from the four path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and took a brief lead at the five sixteenths, was met at the rail midway on the far turn, dropped back into the lane and settled for second best. MR THRIFTY raced well back off the rail on the first turn, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and came along to take third later yards. ROCKET APPEAL stalked three wide, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail then flattened in the lane. OVERLY CRITICAL saved early ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the six path on the far turn and passed rivals widest. RAD PAISLEY stalked two deep on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, took a slim brief lead while between horses approaching the five sixteenths but dropped back at the quarter pole and faded on the far turn. ISHIHARA raced off the rail on the opening turn and showed little response through the backstretch. KENNY HAD A NOTION rounded the first turn in the four and five path, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. HIS NAME IS SUE rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole, was met approaching the five sixteenths pole and gave way at the rail.
