Chart notes
SLUSHY advanced soon after the start to duel three wide for the early lead, battled for command with FIERY EMBLEM holding a slight edge around the turn, ALIZEE took a narrow advantage at the eighth pole, fought back gamely, edged ahead of aforementioned foe in deep stretch and held on. ALIZEE raced in the back although was never far from the frontend, saved ground around the turn, given cue along the rail entering the lane, responded, advanced to a slim lead, got headed by SLUSHY in deep stretch, remained in striking distance and fought back to the wire. QUEEN CORDELIA tracked the top trio through early stages, picked up the tempo three wide late on the turn, swung five wide into the lane, shifted in a couple paths, raced in striking distance three deep in the final sixteenth and sustained response. FIREY EMBLEM bumped with rival at the start, quickly advanced and vied for the lead along the inside, battled back into upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong. GLORY ROLL bumped with rival at the start then vied for the lead until mid-turn, edged back from between and steadily faded in the lane.
