WE B THREE away well and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, controlled the pace in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, turned back a bid from RUN LOLA RUN through the final turn, and drew clear late under confident handling. RUN LOLA RUN broke sharply and stalked the leader through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, began to advance midway down the backstretch to take up the chase two wide entering the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on the pacesetter entering the lane, but closed determinedly through the lane to prove clearly second best. SOLARITY trailed the field into the stretch the first time, commenced her bid two wide entering the final turn, and finished willingly three wide in the drive to garner a share. BAYAKOAS IMAGE clipped heels entering the first turn, almost unseating her rider, recovered to take a stalking trip from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, dropped back to trail in the run down the backside, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and finished four wide in the drive while unable to seriously threaten. SHAMRA away alertly and tracked the leaders into the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, maintained her position in the run down the backstretch, but was outfinished over the final furlong. REA MEA hopped at the start while tossing her head to get away awkwardly, rushed up three wide entering the first turn to take a tracking trip into the lane the first time, chased the pacesetter two wide in the run to the final turn, but faded over the final furlong. Following the running of this race there was a stewards inquiry into an incident entering the first turn. After review there was no change to the original order of finish.
