Chart notes
UNCAPTURED KING rated close inside, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole but lacked room at the rail leaving the five sixteenths, eased four wide approaching the top of the lane, dueled to the lead mid-stretch and drew away the final sixteenth. HAPPY CHARLIE raced in the three path on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn five wide and dug in to take second the final yards. MY CANDY BIZ rated a short lead inside, came under pressure approaching the seven sixteenths pole, was caught at the rail toward the quarter, continued a factor through the upper stretch but was outfinished in a later duel for second. FIVE STAR PHIL stalked off the rail, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced close in the three path on the far turn then outfinished in the duel through the stretch. FLAT CAT stalked four wide on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, took over in the three path approaching the quarter, was met mid-stretch and flattened the final sixteenth. HPNOTIQ RHYTHM raced off the rail on the opening turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened into the far turn. SPRING THE BEAST showed little response through the backstretch. MAKE WAY came away awkwardly and was shuffled back early then saved ground.
