Chart notes
TOM HORN stalked the leaders from outside, bid four wide into the lane, took over past the quarter pole and drew away. LOGON TO WIN broke a step slow, vied four then three deep for command, carried a short lead to the quarter pole, relinquished the lead shortly after, fought to midstretch, could not stay with the winner after and held the place. DARK MARCUS stalked three wide into the turn, five wide into the lane, chased within range into the final furlong but needed to find more late. SANGER vied three deep for the lead, between rivals into the turn, chased two wide into the lane and weakened. RIGHT TURN hopped at the start then went up inside the leaders, chased along the rail into the stretch and lacked the needed response. BARBACOA reluctant to load into the gate, vied between foes then along the inside, cut the corner into the lane and faded. MISSING THEM hit the gate at the start, had to check between foes early, chased outside a rival then a bit off the rail into the lane, drifted in midstretch and weakened. AVIATOR NATION was off slow to begin, trailed three then four wide around the turn and could not make an impact. DUE TO TIMER MALFUNCTION THE HALF-MILE FRACTION WAS HAND-TIMED.
