CHIEF ALPHA raced on the rail, was off of the pace and in the middle of the field, settled in hands, moved at he half mile marker, gained ground, was in traffic and gaining through the turn, split horses to challenged for the lead at the five sixteenth pole, was under encouragement and had the lead at the quarter pole, was kept on point driven down the stretch with rivals close behind but he kept them all at bay and took the win gamely. SUMMER LOVER was off of the pace in the two path, settled in hands and comfortably found his stride, moved at the half mile pole, improved position, circled on the outside in the turn, was ten wide in the upper stretch, was put to the task of closing and responded very well just missing for the win. CHROME RUN raced on the rail, was off of the pace and in the middle of a strung out field, moved a the half, improved position by the three eight s pole, angled out in the turn and was six wide in the upper stretch, found his best stride late and just missed for second. KING OF CONTRABAND was in the five path and stalking, launched his bid at the half mile pole, circled the field in the turn, challenged for thelead at he eighth pole, then tired in the last sixteenth. OGRE'S LION KING was off slow, improved late. PINCH HITTER vied for the lead, raced on the rail while setting the pace, tired. GHOST COWBOY was in the middle of the pack early and racing in the three path, settled in hands and given time to find his stride, advanced at the half mile pole and improved position, was in contention in the upper stretch but had no late kick. REVERENT stalked the leader from the three path, was asked to rate and was keen in his bridle, angled out into the four path nearing the three eighths pole and hen tired. BREAD WINNER stumbled after the break and was never involved. NOBLE HONOR falshed early speed and stopped.
