COMMANDER KEITH stalked the early duel, made a three wide bid near the quarter pole, was in the three path into the lane, edged past the leader near the eighth pole under a long drive and won the nod at the wire. CHESS'S DREAM raced back early on, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane to make a late bid but was out-nodded at the wire. FAST N STEADY chased the pace early, made a bid four wide nearing the lane, was in the four path into the lane, continued the bid down the lane but had no late kick. FAST PAYDAY was unprepared at the start and trailed the field early on, raced in the three path into the lane with a late gain in the stretch run. PIYPA DE LYNDA chased the pace early, was off the rail into the lane, made a bid in the stretch but flattened out late in the drive.
