WRONG TURN CUPID stumbled a bit leaving the gate, chased the leading pair three wide, stayed within range into the final furlong, shied from rival at the sixteenth pole and kept on willingly for second. CROWN KITTEN was off slow to begin, raced at the back four wide into the turn, came five wide into the stretch and gained third. FLAG SALUTE tracked four to five around the turn and never responded to urging. FLASHY PASS dueled for command from inside, fought through the turn, lost touch with the leader at the top of the lane and weakened.
