Chart notes
HOWDOYALIKEMENOW was reserved off the early pace, came four-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final sixteenth. PEDAL TO THE METAL disputed the issue from the outset while three-wide, came in slightly at the wire to bump with AIN'T NO SISSY and held on well in a game try. AIN'T NO SISSY vied for the lead from between horses, came out slightly to bump at the wire and finished well in a steady effort. NIGHT TO REMEMBER was allowed to settle in stride, was in tight nearing the quarter pole running up on horses, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished willingly while being bumped at the wire. ABOVE THE REST was off a step slow, then rushed up to duel for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and tired. UHTREDSONOFUHTRED dropped back early, raced four-wide and failed to menace. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT IN DEEP STRETCH BUT AFTEW VIEWING THE FILMS DETERMNED THE BUMPING OCCURED AT THE WIRE.
