Chart notes
DUDEWITHTHEDIAMOND unhurried, looped two and three wide through the second turn, holding position, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. FREDDY'S MUSIC rated back inside, angled out down the backstretch, gained a short lead on the two path through the second turn, shook clear in the lane, then drew off and was outfinished. GEMINI MOON well placed, looped up three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch and flattened out. ON AN ISLAND set the pace on the outside, shook clear down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. DAD'S LIL SPARK was no factor.
