MR. WULLY BULLY was well off of the pace and in no hurry in the early stages of the race, raced on the rail and saved ground, settled in hands, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, shifted out four wide, challenged for the lead at the five sixteenth pole, battled with three other rivals in the upper stretch, shook those two and continued to battle with one other rival until the sixteenth pole, put that one away and drew off convincingly. FLYING CAROLINA was off slow and off of the pace, raced in the four path on the outside, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, circled the filed, challenged the two front runners for the lead at the five sixteenth pole, shook those two front runners and battled on down the lane with an outside foe, battled until after the sixteenth pole and gave way. MR LEO AND JOSE stalked the leader in the two path, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, shifted out into the three path, challenged for the lead at the five sixteenth pole, battled, was joined by two other competitors, gave way. WINDTAPPER WIN raced on the rail in the middle of the field, improved position, started to launch a bid nearing the three eighths pole on the inside, steadied, then faded. CAMALEON vied for the lead, raced on the rail, led, shifted down to the rail in the upper stretch, battled with another contender, was joined by two other fast closing rivals and gave way. PERIPATETIC was keen early while racing on the rail, angled out into the four path is the first urn, settled a bit and stalked the leader, the tired at the quarter pole. RONALDS GATSBY raced mid pack, in the three a oth, raced in between rivals but was never involved.
