BRUMBA WAFFLE TOES hopped at the start, moved up and angled out through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up in the final stides. GREY INVASION stalked the pace on the outside, gained a striking position and bid outside of that one into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the furlong marker and was outfinished. WHISKEYMAC tracked the pace well back, raced boxed through the second turn, came through inside into the stretch, split foes, then lacked the needed late kick. RICHARD HOOTY unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch, angled widest, made a steady gain and edged for a share. LIGHTNING CHARLIE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. BEACH HOLIDAY well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the lane and faded.
