BREEZY CONNECTION well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, exchanging bumps with the leader, then dueled with that one and edged ahead in the final strides. HALF BIRTHDAY set the pace well off the rail, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, drifted out slightly, exchanging bumps with the winner, dueled with that one and was outfinished. PROPER MANNERS well placed and inside, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, drifted out slightly and edged up for the show. SOUTH HOUSE vied for the early lead on the inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside and weakened. QUEEN OF CHILL rated back early, improved position. CHEROKEE CHATTER was never involved, widest. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN, RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
