Chart notes
WINDSOR'S PLAY rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole and contested even terms closest to the rail on the far turn, then dug in determinedly through the lane and held on. LADRO DI FICHI saved ground well off the pace, bid leaving the three eighths pole and improved in the five path of the far turn, finished well to take second the final yards and was gaining on the winner. BEST VIRGINIA stalked three wide the opening turn, challenged leaving the three eighths pole and contested even terms two deep on the far turn, dug in a close factor through the upper stretch but flattened the final sixteenth. MONOCACY settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase toward the five sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. MISS LAUREN raced off the rail on the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, eased out approaching the top of the stretch but flattened stride. MY SISTER PAM raced off the pace in the four path on the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three and four paths and showed little further. CEDAR'S WISH saved ground on the opening turn and showed little response through the backstretch. BAYS CASTLE was never a factor. KELSEY'S ANGEL stalked two deep, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. RIVER REWARDS RVF stalked four wide on the first turn then faded through the backstretch.
