Chart notes
WINTER PRINCESS saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the rail coming around the far turn, dueled in upper stretch and edged clear late. GLOSSAMER raced in the two path early, stalked the pace setter on the outside coming up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path approaching the three eighths pole, dueled in upper stretch and could not go with the in the final furlong but kept on to the wire. SHAOLIN saved ground around the first bend, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and improved position from there. PARTY MONSTER stumbled slightly leaving the gate, raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn still in the two path and passed tiring horses in the stretch. HOLD ME CLOSER raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the two path and made no bid. RED WINE TIME dropped back to trail far behind the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend and was not a factor. ROMANTIC COMEDY saved ground around the first bend, led the field up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing on the rail around the second turn and continued to tire in the lane.
