Chart notes
IMPULSUS hopped up leaving the gate, raced in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far bend and dueled to the wire to just get the win. BRAHMS IS WHO raced in the two path early, chased the leader up the backstretch, challenged from the rail coming around the far turn and dueled gamely in the lane to narrowly miss. COME ON SWEET PEA saved ground in the middle of the pack through the opening half mile, came around the far turn in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. PIPER ROSE trailed the field while saving ground around the first turn, raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the far bend in the two path and improved position in the lane while never threatening. RABBIT TWENTY TWO saved ground around the first bend, led the way up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the two path around the second turn and continued to tire from there. MARIAHS STAR raced in the three path early, came up the backstretch off the pace on the outside, dropped back to trail the field while saving ground around the far turn and was empty in the stretch.
