Chart notes
COMMANDER CARL pressed three wide, vied between horses at the five furlong pole, led two wide turning for home and drew off at the quarter pole. SANTA CRUISER tracked in the two path, tipped outside of the leading pair entering the lane and ran on to gain place late. PICO D'ORO broke inwardly, vied for the lead two wide, then between horses at the five furlong pole before clearing an inner faltering foe at the nine sixteenths pole, vied with a pair of outer rivals around the far turn, but failed to keep pace with the eventual winner at the quarter pole and lost place late. MAD ADAM took contact to both sides at the start and was last away, then raced at the rear in the four path and stayed on mildly. PRIMER DIMER tracked four wide, moved to press at the five furlong pole, sustained pressure three wide around the far turn but gave way nearing the lane. RIVER BOY vied along the inside but faded inside of multiple foes with nine sixteenths to go. STUD PUPPY was outrun.
