PLAYING HARDBALL broke in a bit at the start and bumped with HEY BATMAN, tracked the solid early pace while outside of rivals, dueled with HEY BATMAN along the turn then took command into upper stretch, drew to a clear lead at the furlong marker, was kept to task under steady urging to deep stretch and pulled away in the final sixteenth. COLONEL VARGO chased the solid early pace while inside of rivals, lost ground on the turn, was steered three wide into the stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker, could not impact the winner in deep stretch and held well for second in the final stages. DEALERS HAND settled inside of rivals in the early running, made a mild gain at the quarter marker, was roused four wide into the stretch, continued to make a steady gain to the furlong marker, lacked the needed late response, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and missed for second, while holding safely for third. IMPLICITLY settled off of the solid early pace, lost ground while outside of rivals along the turn, was steered six wide into the stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, needed more in the final stages and passed a tiring rival in deep stretch. HEY BATMAN was bumped by PLAYING HARDBALL leaving the break but recovered to show good early speed and set a solid pace into the turn, was confronted by PLAYING HARDBALL along the bend and dueled with that rival to the quarter marker, chased to mid-stretch and faded in the final furlong. WINTER FALCON was bumped by a neighboring rival then crowded ARREST at the start, chased from the second flight into the turn, gained ground while four wide on the turn, swung widest and raced seven wide into upper stretch, was outrun to the furlong marker and gave way in the final stages. ARREST was squeezed back at the start and was off a bit slowly, recovered to tracked the decent pace while outside of rivals into the turn, advanced four wide and came within aim nearing the quarter marker, was steered out a path into upper stretch and came five wide for the drive, could not keep pace into the final furlong and tired in the drive.
