Chart notes
REAPER was off to a good start and vied for command in opening stages, dueled between rivals around the turn, shook off inside foe and battled on with DIALED IN TO WIN through the lane, rival held a slight edge a furlong out, dug in determinedly, poked a head out in front in deep stretch and held gamely. DIALED IN TO WIN was away in good order and vied for the lead through the backstretch, continued to match strides three wide around the turn, battled on with inside running REAPER in the lane, held a slight edge at the eighth pole then got edged in final strides. SINCERELY MINE raced off the pace up the backstretch, hustled along five wide into the drive, gathered momentum under firm handling and produced a solid finish. MC COUGAR sat juts off the embattled trio entering the turn, swung four wide into the lane and flattened in the final furlong. U CAN DO U came away in good order and vied for the early lead, battled on the inside around the turn then came empty in the lane. SURPRISE ROAD TRIP showed brief response then retreated.
