COUSIN RICHIE settled inside of rivals in the early stages, made a mild advance along the backstretch run while saving ground, continued that gain along the far turn and came within aim nearing the quarter marker, angled four wide approaching the top of the stretch, battled for the lead into mid-stretch, took command at the furlong pole, was kept to task under steady right-handed urging into deep stretch and held safely in a drive to prevail. ECOLOGIST settled outside of rivals into the first turn and raced widest into the backstretch run, was unhurried through the backstretch run and raced outside of a rival into the far turn, was roused at the quarter marker and swung four wide into the lane, advanced nearing mid-stretch then waited behind runners at the furlong marker, split rivals into deep stretch, closed well in the final stages but could not reel in the winner and held for second at the finish. ATTENZIONE bobbled at the start and was off slowly, was unhurried through the backstretch run, was steered into the four path into the second turn, rallied four wide into the stretch and came within aim at the furlong marker, could not muster the needed response in deep stretch, was outfinished by the top pair in the final stages and held for third. TABLE FOR TWO was allowed to settled while saving ground in the early stages, improved position along the far turn while saving all of the ground, mounted a rail bid into the stretch and came within aim at the furlong marker, raced in tight quarters into deep stretch and was outkicked in the final sixteenth. AUSPICIOUS STYLE was forwardly placed leaving the break and stalked the pace while inside of rivals into the first turn, tracked the decent pace along the backstretch run, was coaxed along outside of rivals and raced widest to the quarter marker, gave chase while within aim into mid-stretch and lacked a late response. QUE SERA SIR RALPH was prominent in the early running and prompted the pace while outside of rivals into the backstretch run, pressed the decent pace to the half-mile marker then took a narrow lead along the far turn, battled into the drive, could not hold off oncoming rivals in the final stages and gave way. HEAT N REHEAT settled in the second flight, raced outside of rivals along the first turn and tracked the pace to the half-mile marker, chased from the two path to the quarter marker, improved position and came within aim nearing the furlong pole, could not muster the needed response in deep stretch, took up while squeezed between rivals at the sixteenth-marker and tired in the final stages. BANDERA AZTECA was hustled leaving the break and dictated terms in the early running, set pressured fractions to the half-mile marker, dueled with QUE SERA SIR RALPH along the far turn, lost the lead to that rival nearing the quarter marker, battled for the lead into upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and weakened in deep stretch. TOM AND JAZZY chased the decent early pace while outside of rivals, gained ground along the backstretch run, lost position while three wide along the far turn, dropped back in upper stretch and came up empty in the drive.
