Chart notes
BENGALA JOY rated back in the early going, moved up on the two path through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain, edged ahead late and held. LOVELY EVER AFTER allowed to settle, moved up inside through the second turn, angled three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. AZTEC PRINCESS well placed and inside, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, made a steady gain, edged ahead late and could not sustain the bid. STARSHIP MACYS sprinted away from the field early, held sway to the furlong marker, then weakened and held a share. LIGHTNING ROUND rated close up, lost some ground two and three wide through the second turn, then faded into the stretch. BOURBON BLAST well placed and outside, lost position four wide through the second turn, angled in into the stretch and had no rally. INDIAN SPIDEROO was never involved.
