Chart notes
GRAY MAGICIAN raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and kicked clear in the final furlong. MACHO ROCCO raced in the middle of the pack early, swung out to the five path to began a bid approaching the quarter pole and improved position in the lane. FIRE SWORD led the field on the inside up the backstretch, continued to show the way from the two path coming around the bend and was caught in midstretch. WISE VERDICT trailed the field through the opening stages, saved ground around the bend and passed tiring horses in the lane. KIERKEGAARD raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and made no bid. LOVE MY JIMMY chased the leader on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the bend from the four path and tired in the stretch.
