UNITED PATRIOT set a pressured pace, dueled through the stretch and proved best in a long drive. MAGIC CARPET pressed the pace while racing between horses, challenged for the lead on the turn, dueled through the stretch and was outfinished in a good effort. ROCKPORT KAT raced close to the pace towards the outside, fell back on the turn, finished evenly and settled for show. SHANGHAI SKIPPER trailed throughout.
