Chart notes
SHACKLEFORD STRONG dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was in a strong drive and drew off in upper stretch then was kept to a drive to late stretch when clear. LUCKY SHOT dueled for the lead from the inside into the turn, was in a long drive but weakened in mid stretch and held the place safe in the end. TRY TRY AGAIN was settled then raced four wide on the turn, made a mild rally in the stretch but was no threat. WEST WARPATH was inside on the turn and saving ground then failed to menace in the stretch. FULL MAGAZINE raced three wide into the turn making a bid but flattened out in the drive. PAYSTER was through after a half then gave way. LONESTAR CHROME trailed throughout.
