Chart notes
SHIPSHAPE settled off early while in the three path, moved between rivals approaching the turn to vie for the lead, continued to duel through the turn and into the lane, edged away from dueling rivals inside the eighth pole then held off the closers. JACKSON STRONG was near the rail through the turn when near the back of the field, angled into the four path for the drive and was gaining to the end. MR MANNING raced in the four path through the turn, came into the lane from the five path, was five wide with an eighth to travel and slowly gained. HIGHEST PRAISE was near the inside through the turn, was shuffled back near the eighth pole when others were finishing, found room late and passed a couple. MATERS N TATERS vied for the lead along the inside of duo then gave way after straightening in the lane. HARD NIGHT in the two path through the turn, came into the lane from the six path and never factored. LAKE TAHOE vied for the lead three wide through the turn then gave way entering the lane.
