Chart notes
AUGER prompted the pace three wide into the stretch, made the lead before the eighth pole then finished full of run under a strong hand ride to win going away. FLIPPING FISH close up from the start, saved ground, had a mild late rally along the rail and finished second best. FIRST CITIZEN away alertly, set a pressured pace along the inside into the stretch, drifted two wide and was outfinished. ICON never far back, offered a mild bid four wide into the stretch then leveled off. LAUDA SPEED pressed the pace two wide and was through after a half. ZELIG bobbled then was in tight at the start then failed to reach contention. MAS CHIKILIN had brief speed. LOST IN MANHATTAN trailed.
