Chart notes
MAIDEN ROCK saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field on the rail up the backstretch and around the far bend, began a bid approaching the eighth pole, gained ground quickly, kicked clear and drew off. MORE ROMANCE raced in the three path early, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and kept on to the finish. ICYWILBURNYEH raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, saved ground around the far bend and improved position mildly in the stretch. PICAFLOR hit the gate leaving it, raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, led in upper stretch and flattened out in the final furlong. ALQWANI saved ground early, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, floated out to the three path coming off the far bend and tired from there.
