Chart notes
FIRST RULE stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch and turn, rallied turning for home and was in a strong drive to wear down the pace setter and prevailed in the end. HE'S A SHOOTER showed the early pace then was taken back to saved ground, rallied inside in the stretch and gamely dug in to be up for the place in the end. BACKATYA raced two wide and rallied to take command into the turn, was in a long drive then faltered in late stretch. CLASSY SOLUTION was stalking the place while inside, swung out to be five wide in upper stretch but was no menace. UNDERDOG was unhurried early and no threat. LORD DARNLEY trailed throughout and was outrun.
