Chart notes
OFFICER COUNTRY vied for the lead on the inside under a hard hold, then let out a notch and drew clear on the backstretch, then was three wide into the lane and kicked away the final furlong to prove best under a drive. CANDY KINGDOM was up on the pace three wide into the first turn, then rated two wide on the backstretch, came four wide into the lane making a bid but cvould not sustain that bid while being second best. ERIC THE SALESMAN was settled early, between rivals by the five eighths marker, came wide into the lane and was up for the show award. PETIT FILS (FR) was allowed to settle early, advanced on the inside, made a bid two wide leaving the turn but flattened out, missed show award. VOLTAMOUR vied for the lead between rivals and two wide, rated on the inside, saved ground into the lane and faded the final furlong. TEMPUS was settled three wide and lacked a rally.
