Chart notes
SOCAL RED saved ground while being prominently placed, moved up along the inside to join the leaders at the half mile pole, dueled with REGULATION DAZED to near the eighth pole, shook that one off and drew clear late. REGULATION DAZED vied for the lead from the outset while racing three-wide, could not stay with the winner during the drive but held on gamely for second. FORTY SMOOCHES brushed at the start with STREET DEMAND, then was forwardly placed while racing three-wide but lacked a rally. WARRIORS HERO was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch to offer a bid and then went evenly late. MARKSMAN ON TARGET vied for the lead racing off the rail to six furlongs and weakened. STREET DEMAND was closed up early racing between horses while two-wide and tired.
