Chart notes
NEVER COMPROMISE saved ground close to the early pace, picked up the chase leaving the half mile pole, moved to even terms two deep midway on the far turn and dug in under determined handling to inch clear. WHAT DOES IT TAKE took the lead leaving the three quarter pole and rated the pace inside, raced clear into the backstretch, was pressured past the three eighths, met at even terms midway on the far turn and dueled gamely to late stretch before reluctantly ceding. FIELDSTONE raced well back off the rail on the first turn, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, circled rivals in the seven path on the far turn and came along for third late. NAPA VALLEY saved early ground, gave chase toward the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn about the three path, then flattened mid-stretch. GREAT DAYS AHEAD saved ground well off the early pace, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and weakened the final sixteenth. KRUG rounded the first turn about the four path, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and showed little in the lane. MY MIRACLE MAN stalked three wide the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened approaching the far turn. AUBURN MILL rated close inside on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. ROYAL PAIN raced well back off the rail, gave chase from the three eighths pole but showed little response. SUBJECT TO CHANGE rated close in the three path the first turn then faded past the five sixteenths pole.
