Chart notes
SPIDER BELLE was allowed to settle after the break trailing down the back straight, started to move when shifting out four wide three eighths from the finish, continued to gain on rivals in the six path turning for home, took control at the furlong marker and held safe for the win. FRANKIE'S GIRL tracked three wide outside with a half remaining, waited to pounce behind the embattled trio five sixteenths from the wire, finally had clear running room angling out in the six path with an eighth left to go and was gaining on horses with each stride late but ran out of room. GABBY SQUARED settled near the rear four deep outside at the half mile marker, offered an early move four wide circling horses with seven sixteenths to go to bid for the lead midturn, gave way to the winner at the furlong marker and finished up well enough saving third money at the wire. TEMPEREYA pressed the issue outside down the backstretch, dueled between runners midpoint on the turn, determinedly dug in three wide at the top of the lane and held on for a minor role in the end. BODACIOUS MISS was on hold sitting on the rail behind the contesting top two at the half, lost some momentum inside with three furlongs to run and could not find another gear to be a serious threat on the fence down the stretch. NO WHAMMIE set the fractions having a narrow lead on the rail down the backside, was collared outside by runners midway on the turn, battled until mid stretch inside and backed away in the final furlong.
