MY SUNNY VALENTINE brushed inside rival at the start, then was pushed down on the rail entering the backstretch, regrouped to track the leader under a snug hold on the turn, loomed the threat shifting three wide between foes turning for home, took control at the furlong marker and was starting to pull away crossing the line. WINYAH BAY settled near the rear in the third flight outside, put a strong move three wide outside with seven sixteenths from home, chased the leader on the turn, battled to the wire in lane four down the stretch and got up for place share late. KNOW HOW (GB) stalked in the third flight inside early on, lost some positioning entering the turn, rallied three wide with five sixteenths to run, shifted five wide for the drive and closed to capture third in deep stretch. MIMI'S GOLDEN RING broke sharp to lead, angled inside to the rail in early backstretch, set the fractions throughout the turn, was collared by the winner at the furlong marker and tired in deep stretch losing positions late. SACRED DANCER was bumped at the start, steadied sharply at the eleven sixteenths pole on the fence to trail down the backside, shifted off the rail midway on the turn, angled out in the six path to be in the mix for a share at the top of the lane but could not find more to pose a threat to the finish. AMERICAN GAMBLE tracked the leader two deep at the half, was steadied in tight quarters inside the three eighths pole and could not recover to offer a finish driving to the wire.
