Chart notes
ANGEL'S MAGIC led the field around the first turn, opened up racing up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend and dueled gamely to the wire to hold the win. COFFEE CALIENTE saved ground early, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the second turn from the two path, challenged entering the stretch and dueled to the finish but could not get by the winner. MENDELSSOHN JOY raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn still in three path and gained ground late. LORING PARK raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace between horses for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and improved position in the lane. BUBBA BOB raced in the two path early, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground around the far bend and was outkicked in the stretch. RUNAWAY READY saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch and around the second turn and made no bid.
