Chart notes
CAIRO KING was away alertly, pressed the pace, assumed command entering the stretch and drew off under urging. SOUTHERN SUMMER was never far back, swung wide leaving the turn, closed well and was all out for place. PLEASE THE COURT raced mid pack, fell back on the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and finished well. COYSTER set the pace to the turn, weakened and faded through the stretch. SIDNEY'S HOPE raced close to the pace along the inside, backed up on the turn, bid four wide and had little left. FLAT FAST pressed the pace between horses to the turn, fell back and finished evenly. ZESTY JAZZMAN pressed the pace to the turn and gave way. DUBRONSKY broke slowly, advanced outside, challenged three across on the turn and stopped. BUMBLEBEE broke slowly, raced in the back, swung wide leaving the turn and lacked a bid. SOULONG flashed speed, was through early and outrun.
