Chart notes
SONNET prompted the pace two wide into the stretch, was forced out to the five path by the leader and brushed at the top of the stretch, made the lead near the furlong marker when put to righted handed urging then drew off late under a strong hand ride. LADY JASPER set a pressured pace along the inside, drifted out to the four path brushing the winner entering the stretch then finished well clear for second. CROSSED UP bore out at the start and improved position late while no threat. OUT MY DEAR with the second flight two wide, moved closer on the far turn then came up empty. BROWNIE failed to menace. SALUTE THE KID with the second flight along the rail, was through after a half. CHLOES ANGEL was no factor. SURE FIRE READY was forced outward at the start, raced wide and trailed throughout.
