Chart notes
MERGER OF EQUALS was sent outside to an early lead early down the backstretch, was overtaken into the far turn, came again from the outside of Coco Puff and drew off to be well clear under steady handling. CATALENA settled off the early going, moved up from the far outside in the stretch and rallied willingly to the wire. CIRCLE OF COURAGE pressed the pace four deep down the backstretch and weakened in the drive. COCO PUFF rated along the inside, made a quick three wide bid near the three eighths pole and faltered in the drive. SHE SO COOL was off a step slow, unhurried early on to race off the early pace, raced three wide near the quarter pole and never threatened while racing from the outside in the lane.
