Chart notes
STARS ON FIRE (IRE) saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. NO KAY NEVER (IRE) was allowed to settle, steadied nearing the three-sixteenths pole while in tight from between horses, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch and finished fast when clear. CAT ROYALE was off a step slow then unhurried, moved up between horses on the turn, came three-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. SECRET OPERATION was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. LURE'EM IN was reserved off the pace while racing three-wide but lacked a rally. WILMA MANKILLER steadied from along the inside nearing the half mile pole, then dropped back and saved ground. was in tight nearing the eighth pole along the inside and finished willingly when clear. SUNSET PAYNTER prompted the issue for three furlongs while racing two-wide and gave way. SWEET NELLIE vied for the lead to the stretch while racing three-wide and tired.
